Almyros Plant
The Almyros facility is locate in Central Greece near Volos, nearby the Steelworks of SOVEL SA.
The facility includes various production lines for the processing of industrial by-products originating from SOVEL SA, from other industries of the VIOHALCO Group, other local industries and industries from the region of Athens.
The main activities of this plant is the production of manufactured hard aggregates from electric arc furnace (EAF) slag, the recovery of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and the production of secondary raw materials for the cement industry. The company operates its own port facility where from aggregates are dispatched towards all major motorway construction projects in progress in Greece.
The plant is certified according to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 by the independent organism TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS.
